 Hey,

I just downloaded WhatsApp Messenger on my Android.

It is a Smartphone Messenger which replaces SMS. This app even lets me send
pictures, video and other multi-media!

WhatsApp Messenger is available for Android, iPhone, Nokia and BlackBerry
and there is no PIN or username to remember - it works just like SMS and
uses your internet data plan.

Get it now from http://www.whatsapp.com/download/ and say good-bye to SMS.

1. OI Safe and OI Notepad

We have a new application on the Market: OI Safe allows you to store
your passwords safely using AES encryption:
http://www.openintents.org/en/node/205

It is the successor of Password Safe (
http://code.google.com/p/android-passwordsafe/
).

We have also updated OI Notepad. One of the really cool new features
is that you can now encrypt notes using the same password as in OI
Safe. In fact, the password never leaves the safe, so encryption /
decryption is handled through new crypto intents.

For details see this page:

Feedback is welcome!

2. How can I create a Parcel object for unit testing purposes?

Hi,

In my android project, I have a class which creates a Parselable
object (in my case, MyData).

public static final Parcelable.Creator<MyData> MYDATA_CREATOR = new
Parcelable.Creator<MyData>() {
        public MyData createFromParcel(Parcel in) {
            return new MyData(in);
        }
}

My question is how can I create a mock Parcel object to pass in the
'createFromParcel()' for unit testing purposes in order to test the
constructor 'MyData(Parcel in)'?

Thank you.
