ternyata tergantung lokasi, kalo di bandara Sukarno Hatta, ruang tunggu Lion
Air, spicanya panas pake Wifi Tether walau hanya 1 jam (mungkin karena
kecepatan tinggi?). Kalo di Cimacan - Jawa Barat, pakai Wifi Tether 4 jam
normal saja. Di Sibolga juga sama.

Soal batere, normal saja.

Yang panas itu sebenarnya baterenya loh....
Dan sayah juga pelajari, kalau signalnya byar pet-byar pet gitu juga bikin
panas nya cepet naik.

Sekalian numpang tanyak.... Itu batere cepat rusak gak kalau sering
tethering gitu yak?

1. Dev Phone 1 - GPS and Wifi issues

Hi,

just got my Dev Phone and encountered several issues with the WiFi and
GPS. I searched the web and this group but did not find the the right
answer.

1. May be I missed something but also my GPS is turned on and the GPS
Symbol is showing activity I can not retreive any GPS data, neither on
GPS Tracker nor on Google Maps. The Tracker sees 3 Satelites but
doesnt calculate any position. Other GPS Apps are not able to compute
the position

2. Wifi works only with open networks and Signal strength indicator is
very unprecise (or the Wifi Hardware)
Wifi connects with WPA but does not retreive any data.

Somehow these problems look similar so I assume that there is a
general problem. Update OS or something?

Any information or solution for this is highly appreceated.

Cheers
Carsten

2. Equal View heights in LinearLayout

Hello :)

I am building a form where the city field has a locate-button besides
it. Unfortunately, they do not have the same height by default (and I
do not know the height in advance). I would like to have the
ImageButton have the same height as the AutoCompleteTextView:

<LinearLayout
        android:layout_width="fill_parent"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:orientation="horizontal">
        <AutoCompleteTextView
                android:id="@+id/cityField"
                android:layout_width="wrap_content"
                android:layout_height="wrap_content"
                android:layout_weight="1"
                android:singleLine="true"
                android:selectAllOnFocus="true"/>
        <ImageButton
                android:id="@+id/locateButton"
                android:layout_width="wrap_content"
                android:layout_height="wrap_content"
                android:src="@android:drawable/ic_menu_mylocation"/>
</LinearLayout>

I already tried a RelativeLayout - and it is possible to align the
height of both views, but unfortunately I cannot assign a
layout_weight attribute to make the TextView consume all space. I'm
stuck now - can anybody help ?

Thx
