 IMHO Good for Google and iPhone and Bad for RIM
Soalnya yang jadi fitur andalan RIM selama ini kan BBM-nya. Lha kalo BBM
udah gak eksklusive hanya BB Device, jangan2 orang malah tambah
berbondong2 switch ke Android dan iPhone. Ditambah Apple sedang
merancang iPhone versi Murmer.

Pangsa pasar bbm tambah luas.
Belum lagi katanya bbm bakal diintegrasikan dengan game n fitur fitur lain..
bukan tidak mungkin bakal mengundang dollar lebih banyak klo pasar android
dan ios ikut digarap

Kalo masalah hh blackberry sepertinya mereka bakal meminjam kekuatan android
dari segi aplikasi
Serta hh blackberry kemungkinan bakal dapat ekslusiftas terhadap app bbm
Seperti gapps di android.. walau diios juga ada tapi kan fitur baru tetap
android yang ngerasain..

Menurut saya begini
Thanks

1. Dialog is leaked on orientation change

Hi, built a simple app that displays an alertDialog with two buttons.
The problem is it's not getting dismissed when i change orientation.
After change i get a leak warning on de{*filter*} and the dialog appears
twice(pressing back hides the first dialog, only a second back
dismisses it completely). Any ideas?

Here is my code:

public class MyActivity extends Activity {

  private static final int TEST_DIALOG = 0;

  private AlertDialog alert;
  /**
  * Called when the activity is first created.
  */
  @Override
  public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
      super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
      setContentView(R.layout.main);
      this.showDialog(TEST_DIALOG);
  }

  @Override
  protected Dialog onCreateDialog(int id) {
      switch(id){
          case TEST_DIALOG:
              AlertDialog.Builder builder = new
AlertDialog.Builder(this);
              alert = builder.create();
              alert.setMessage("Test Message");
              alert.setButton("Start", new
DialogInterface.OnClickListener(){
                  public void onClick(DialogInterface arg0, int arg1){
                      alert.dismiss();
                  }
              });
              alert.setButton2("Exit", new
DialogInterface.OnClickListener(){
                  public void onClick(DialogInterface arg0, int arg1){
                      MyActivity.this.finish();
                  }
              });
              return alert;
    }
    return alert;
  }

  @Override
  protected void onDestroy() {
      super.onDestroy();
      if(alert!=null)
      alert.dismiss();
  }
}

Warning i get:

When changing orientation the activity gets destroyed and recreated
but after onCreate has finished creating the dialog, onCreateDialog is
run again, why is this happening?

2. Change drawable for indeterminate progress bar

Hi all, i'm trying to change standard indeterminate progress bar from
rotating wheel to sequence of 3 images ( dots ).

What i have is a animation drawable defined as progress.xml :

<animation-list   android:id="@+id/progress_animation"
android:oneshot="false"
        xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android">
    <item android:drawable="@drawable/progress1"
android:duration="200" />
    <item android:drawable="@drawable/progress2"
android:duration="200" />
    <item android:drawable="@drawable/progress3"
android:duration="200" />
 </animation-list>

and progressbar defined as :

 <ProgressBar
        android:id="@+id/my_progress"
        android:layout_width="wrap_content"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:indeterminate="true"
        android:indeterminateOnly="true"
        android:indeterminateDrawable="@drawable/progress"
        android:visibility="invisible" />

In general it works - however image is repeated for as much i have
space horizontally. I think it's side effect of same kind of stuff
used in progress_indeterminate_horizontal.xml

Is there anyway to get rid of that repeating behavior ? Alternative,
as i understand would be change progressBar to ImageView with
animation drawable inside.
