 Hi All,

So I have this issue with ExpandableListViews I don't quite
understand. I'm having the exact issue as this person almost a year
ago but I'm seeing the solution is not really clear:

Just a guess, see if this helps:
 http://developer.android.com/reference/android/view/ViewGroup.html #setDescendantFocusability(int)

 Thanks TreKing,

I had a suspicion that it has to do with ViewGroup since it was being
passed into getGroupView. I was trying to use the ViewGroup parent
argument in the inflator too since its 2nd parameter was a ViewGroup
"root". And obviously I get a UnsupportedMethod exception. I shifted
my time away from this part to focus on other aspects of the project
but I'll definitely take a better look at the focusable aspects of
Views.

I take that back. Looks like I fixed the issue. I can have any view I
want. Thanks for your time.

Hmmm, I came to the conclusion that a groupView can only contain
TextView type Views meaning stuffing a groupView with Buttons and
other items that are clickable is not advised or not possible. If this
is not true let me know. Right now I'm working around this issue by
making a bunch of TextViews in my convertView for getGroupView and I'm
able to ID them through onGroupClick.

1. Serial over Bluetooth

I'm learning Android quickly but I'm still very much a newbie. Once
I'm up to speed, I have a project in mind that I'd like to try with my
new Droid. I want to interface it with a robot.

I'm brand new to Android development, though I've been doing
electronics for some time now. One of the recent trends in hobby
robotics is adding wireless control, often using Bluetooth as a
wireless serial communication medium.

Does anyone out there know if I can use the Motorola Droid's onboard
Bluetooth capabilities (or any Android phone for that matter) to
communicate with a home-brew Bluetooth device? That is, can I
manually roll my own serial protocol using the existing Bluetooth
framework?

I know it's a weird question but hey - I'm a weird guy.

Thanks for any and all ideas!

2. How to implement asking questions before uninstalling the apk

Hi,
Usually when ever we install some apk from market and then try to
uninstall it we get set of questions like
1.Did not like the software.
2. Do not want to use...etc
I want to know how we can do this. If there is some site where in I
should look please let me know. I tried looking for it but did not
know how to search.
Thanks
