 Hi

Testing a new version of our application, I keep getting license check
fails following a timeout trying to connect

In the LicenseValidator I fall into this case:
           case ERROR_CONTACTING_SERVER:
                Log.w(TAG, "Error contacting licensing server.");
                handleResponse(LicenseResponse.RETRY, data);

This is on both the simulator and a real device..

A tad puzzled as to what's going on..

Ok, now I can contact the server ; but it fails in
LicenseValidator.java (in the LVL itself)
at:
                if (!sig.verify(Base64.decode(signature))) {
                    Log.e(TAG, "Signature verification failed.");
                    handleInvalidResponse();
                    return;
                }

Somehow the signature from the server is incorrect..

What is going on ??

 I ran into this as well. Make sure you have uploaded your apk to the
Market and saved it.

1. wifi icon always shows no bars

I know my G1's status bar wifi icon used to give some indication of
signal strength (it never got very many bars, we all know the G1's
antenna is a little weak), but recently I never see any bars at all.
I am currently holding my G1 one or two feet away from the hub of a
wifi connection, and still, no bars whatsoever in the status bar icon
after several minutes and in several nearby locations around the room.

Since this is a recent change, I'm wondering if this is this a Cupcake
bug. Can one else verify that the wifi icon never shows any bars
whatsoever......or equally important, can anyone verify that it *does*
show bars sometimes and I'm just getting strange behavior?

Thanks.
