I have a Samsung Galaxy S with Android 2.2. In order to power off the
phone, I must press and hold the power off key. I would like to
simulate this action from a Java code. Can I do it?
Best regards,

Only if you modify the firmware, or possibly root your phone. Normal
SDK applications cannot power off the phone.

2. Sub Acivity fly-in direction?

Hi Guys,

Little question Ive been having difficulty finding an answer to.

My current app flies ina sub activity when you flick-up. problem is,
it flies in horizontally from the right. I want it to fly in
vertically from the bottom to match the flick direction.

I'm sure this must be an xml property somewhere, but I can't find it.

Does someone have a pointer as to how to set this?
