I posted a StackOverflow question here (
tab-in-tabactivity/4227034#4227034) but it didn't get any responses.

Basically, how can one dismiss a PopupWindow when changing to a
different TabActivity? The onPause() method in my TabActivity causes
the app to force close...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to elaborate on that. That doesn't sound like standard
behavior ...

Well, google's search widget doesn't show edittext box. You can prove
it by digging into it with hierarchy viewer. For now, you can't have
EditText in app widget (at least for default android's home launcher)

Hi, I have an array of 5 Timer objects in my app, some of wich have
been scheduled with a TimerTask.
I need to be able to store and load these 5 Timers; is there a way to
save Objects? Maybe storing the address of the array would be enough?
How could I do that?
