Send a bookmarkable link via MMS

 Hi!

I've had a hunt around through various forums and dev guides for
Android, and I'm fairly sure this is not possible but it never hurts
to ask!

I know you can send a link to a web page via MMS, but is it possible
on Android to bookmark the link automatically if the user clicks the
link?

i.e
User receives a MMS with a link to example.com and a link saying
"Bookmark now!"
User clicks "Bookmark now!" and a bookmark is created in the browser
(or on the home screen)

I'm fairly certain this behavior would be allowed, but does anyone
know for sure?

Thanks,
Cranz

Just theorizing, but if you had an Activity that had an intent filter for
whatever format you used for the the link you had for "Bookmark Now", that
Activity would be called and there do what you need. And I'm pretty sure you
can create browser shortcuts (though I haven't tried).

2. Completely disable Soft Keyboard from EditText

Hi!

I would like a way to turn off showing the current soft keyboard for
an EditText. I have a custom View that provides the soft input needed
for an EditText, so on every occasion (on click, on focus change, on
touch...) when by default the soft keyboard would be shown, I want it
NOT to be shown.
