My project was building fine yesterday, but after I downloaded the 2.3
SDK and updated some Eclipse components, it broke HARD.

.AIDLs do not even try to compile
Resources are never compiled (e.g., from values/strings.xml)

Are there any known issues with the latest Eclipse/Android bits?

This turned out to be caused by the new requirement that multiple
formatting marks in a <string></string> be numbered.

1. About App names in ADC and Market

http://android-developers.blogspot.com/2009/08/android-developer-challenge-2-open-for.html:
"As a final note, if you've uploaded a version of your app to Android
Market, you'll need to use a different Android package name for the
version you submit to the Challenge."

I understand this part of the app name problem, but I'm not clear
about the other part, that is:
1. Will apps submitted in ADC be eligible to enter Android Market
after ADC ends?
2. If the answer to question 1 is "yes", do I have to give those apps
new names, or can I continue to use the names used for the same apps
submitted in ADC?

Thanks in advance.
