 Hello,

I am working on a widget project.

I use Service to update the widget. Some code shows here:

public static void updateView(RemoteViews views){
        for(int id:appWidgetIds){
                appWidgetManager.updateAppWidget(id, views);
        }
    }

1. About mp4 file container with mp3 codec

Dear all:
        I use Meridian player to playback mp4 audio file within mp3
code.
        It works fine on cupcake version
        But when I use the same player and test file on Donut branch
        The file is failed to be played.
        I traced the logs and found that the file parser was
different.
        In cupcake branch, the player uses mp3ffparser in
        PVMFRecognizerRegistryImpl::DoRecognize function
        But in donut branch, the player uses mp4ffparser.
        Is this difference made by the change of PV media framework?
        How can I solve this issue?
        Thanks for your kindly help

2. SurfaceDestroyed and Game Thread Problem

I am having trouble with the order of function callbacks in a game. I
create and start a game thread in the onCreate() of my activity. In
the onPause() of the activity, I pause the thread. And in
surfaceDestroyed() I stop the thread entirely. I have tried several
other configurations, but I always run into one of two scenarios: I
either try to start a thread that already exists, or my activity
resumes without restarting the game thread.

I'm wondering if there is a best practice or accepted way to start,
pause, and resume the game thread.

Has anyone else had a similar problem. How did you resolve it?
