FrameLayout and WebView

 Hi,

I have been trying to implement the demo API "3d Transition" to switch
between a custom View of mine and a WebView, and it's working fine,
but while scrolling on the WebView, the parts of the WebView that was
not on screen at the first place is replaced by a blanck...

It's just as if that was the FrameLayout that was scrolling instead of
the WebView.

I used the same code that is in the classes "Transition3d.java" and
"Rotate3dAnimation.java", only changing the Views types.

Here is my XML file:

<FrameLayout
        xmlns:android=" http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" ;
        android:id="@+id/container" android:layout_width="fill_parent"
        android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:scrollbars="none">
        <WebView android:id="@+id/imwebview"
                android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:layout_height="fill_parent"
                android:visibility="gone" />
        <com.android.jell.MyMainView android:id="@+id/imview"
                android:layout_width="fill_parent"
                android:layout_height="fill_parent" />
</FrameLayout>

Could you give me some advice?

FrameLayout and WebView

 After looking closer, it seems that applying an animation to the
FrameLayout disable the WebView's scroll animation...

FrameLayout and WebView

 Ok i found a solution but it does not please me.

I encapsulate the WebView within a LinearLayout and I apply the
animation to the linear layout instead of the WebView...

If you have something less dirty, let me know!

1. error on booting android filesystem through NFS

Hi

I am getting following error on mounting android filesystem through
NFS on OMAP board:

Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!

I populated the root filesystem (/root-for-nfs) as below:

cp  out/target/product/generic/root /*    /root-for-nfs
cp  out/target/product/generic/system   /root-for-nfs
cp  out/target/product/generic/data /root-for-nfs

Is any changes required to run init at system/core/init or in OMAP
kernel for android.

Android source tree version used is 1.1.

Thanks in Advance.

2. Connection between BpServiceManager and BServiceManager

(I moved this post from android-platform. I'm sorry - I'm slightly
confused; but I think this is the right place :-)

Hi,
I have spent substantial time trying to figure out the connection
between BServiceManager (BnServiceManager) and BpServiceManager. I'm
puzzled that the control DOES NOT enter
BServiceManager/BnServiceManager (in ServiceManager.cpp and
IServiceManager.cpp). What am I missing? I can see
BpService::checkService() and BpService::listServices() getting
executed but I cannot simply make out where the remote()->transact()
in these functions really takes the control to!

I'd appreciate any pointers/help.

thanks
