 I was able to get my ADP1 to talk to me by enabling debugging mode on
the phone itself (settings->applications).

You may also have to run adb as root.

1. Find me Here application for Android integrating GPS, Maps, Mail, etc.

Hi,

My significant other and I both have Blackberry's with GPS. It would
be very nice to push a button that transmits my location in lat/long
to her device, which could then generate get a set of driving
instructions to my location. Even better, would be real-time updates
so that we could see each other's location on our devices

This would be a neat application for Android devices, since it would
mesh together maps, mail, access control lists, etc.

The same implementation could be used for passive tracking of family
members (again with suitable permissions)
