 I and my customer have had the same problem uploading new versions of
my App.

tried and failed:

Load from website
load from USB using adb install
reset G1 to factory setting

After reset of phone the error message for ADB is Failure
[INSTALL_FAILED_ALREADY_EXISTS]

Any thoughts?

thanks,

Jeff

 You either have to uninstall the app
  adb uninstall xxxx
or install over with
  adb install -r yyyy

See the adb help for details.

 Hi, I've the same problem but when I'm trying to install in the
device. How can I force to upgrade the application instead remove it?
The main problem is I can't to remove the application cause I don't
want to lose the application data.

Thanks in advance

Other Threads

1. Dynamic Buttons Onclick

Hi.

I have some dynamic buttons that are being generated inside a for loop.

for (int i = 0; i < 5 ; i++) {

aUIXButton.setClickable(true);

aUIXButton.setText("X");

@Override

public void onClick(View arg0) {

aUIXButton.setText("Y");

}});

}

This is not working. It says
"Cannot refer to a non-final variable aUIXButton inside an inner class
defined in a different method"

& wants to change the modifier of aUIXButton to final & I don't want to do
that.

Does anyone know how can I fix this?

Thank you,
