AlertDialog.getListView() missing in 1.1r1 sdk

 Hello,

Searching for a way to manipulate the list view of AlertDialog, I come
across the AlertDialog source code(1).
To my surprise, there is a getListView() method defined since mid
december 2008(2), but there is no such method in the 1.1r1 doc or in
the provided sdk.

Is there a reason that the method is not present in the sdk ?

Thanks for the answer.

AlertDialog.getListView() missing in 1.1r1 sdk

There are tons of methods in the framework that are not in the SDK, I can't
speak specifically to this one, but generally that is done because the
method is not something that will be maintained forever.

Oh actually look at this -- you are just looking at a method that was added
after 1.1. It's nothing more than that.

1. Maps API and legacy

Hi all,

I found this post

This posting
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2023669/j2me-android-blackberry-driving-directions-route-between-two-locations
suggests that "you must not use the Map Service with any applications
for route guidance, including but not limited to turn-by-turn route
guidance that is synchronized to the position of a user's sensor-
enabled device"

so if I understand we can use maps API to retrieve a route between two
points (and kml file provided by the URL) and draw on a mapview the
way. Is it right ?

Thanks for your answer

2. Input sound from Bluetooth Headset at time to recognize speech

Hello, Please teach.
I use Xperia(OS 1.6) and Motorola H555(Bluetooth Headset).
By trying RecognizeSpeech(API), it was not possible to input sound
from paired Bluetooth Headset to my application.
By trying Text-to-Speech(API) also, it was not possible to output
sound to paired Bluetooth Headset.
I think that I have to set (or change) sound device to output sound
to
wireless headset.
But I can't find like sound settings.
Please tell me how to sound my application sound from Bluetooth
Headset.
