missed calls

 Hi all,
I've had a lot of trouble with missed calls on my G1

I returned one unit but the replacement still has the same problem.

I often miss calls (no ring, no sms notification, no voicemail notification)

I'm just sitting here at work with a strong signal.

I've read some suggestion that this may be to do with auto-sync (so I've
just turned this off now)

Could some applications be blocking calls?

Is this a widespread issue?

Or do I just have another dodgy handset?

missed calls

by Stoyan Damov » Thu, 12 Mar 2009 22:04:51 GMT

FWIW here are some of my problems:

- missed calls, w/o any trail of them (i.e. a friend swears he'd
called me, but I don't have a missed call from him in the log)

- as of update 1.1 (*don't* you dare tell me it's not from the update
because I started experienced this the MINUTE after the update !!!) I
have a hard time answering and placing calls - I have to continuously
press the dial/hang up buttons for about ~5 secs

- abrupt call ends - i.e. while I'm talking to someone else the call
would just end - it's not the network because then I can grab my
wife's phone for example and talk as much as I want w/o interruptions

Cheers

well it's obviously not just me then. But surely it can't be that common
or everyone would be posting about it?!

well this happened to me before update 1.1

I've never had dropped calls

1. Independent Wallpapers on Multiple Screens

Could it be possible to make each screen have a different wallpaper
while scrolling? I mean, taking as an example a case with three
screens, it will be necessary to set a x3 screen width wallpaper to
fit 1/3 on each screen, or directly setting different images for each
screen... so the scrolling make it visually a different wallpaper on
each screen rather than sliding the wallpaper a 50% each side.
