I am trying to boot Android 1.5 on Omap3430 based device. While
booting up the device stops while showing shiny android text logo. I
am pasting the logcat log below:

1. Why I cannot download kernel?

I have tried both

repo init -u git://android.git.kernel.org/platform/manifest.git
repo sync

and

repo init -u git://android.git.kernel.org/kernel/common.git
repo sync

I don't see kernel folder in my mydroid folder. Could someone please
tell me how?

Tia.

2. Does the Motorola Droid support the multitouch API?

Hello.

I had assumed that the Motorola Droid supports the new multitouch APIs
in Android 2.0, but the reviews of the device I've seen so far say
that it isn't used, at least in the built-in apps like the browser
(e.g: http://www.engadget.com/2009/10/30/motorola-droid-review/ ).
Apparently though, it is supported on the upcoming GSM version of the
same handset (
http://gizmodo.com/5394993/gsm-motorola-droid-aka-milestone-gets-multi+touch-support
), so perhaps it is just an issue of whether the driver is included on
the Droid version of the software.

Can anyone with access to a Droid confirm whether the multitouch API
works on it?

Thanks.
