 Hi,

Apologies for posting this topic if this is not the list cater for
this as I do not know which mailing list is suitable for such topic.

When I got my ADP1, tested with webkit browser which java plugin is
not supported. I tried with Opera Mini and the result is the same. I
heard iPhone support java plugin for their browser and it is pity to
notice that Android webkit currently do not suppor such plugin. I
posted similar question in Android Beginners mailing list at

1. examine http headers from httpClient

I have some code that constructs cookies and other http headers and then
sends the information over the network to a server. I am getting 403s from
the server and I am not sure why. Is there any way to check the http headers
being sent? Using Charles Web Debugging Proxy has failed and I am not that
well versed in wire shark but if someone tells me a way it would really save
my ass.

thanks

2. Android 2.2, SDK, Emulator and 鈥淏ad address family鈥?on Socket Connect

I have a fairly simple game that works perfectly on every version now
up through 2.1, but with the new 2.2 (Froyo) release I am unable to
create a socket. I am using the mina package for nio, and get this
exception:

W/System.err( 263): java.net.SocketException: Bad address family W/

Later in the log, usually immediately following I get this:

W/System.err( 263): java.lang.NullPointerException W/System.err( 263):
at
org.apache.harmony.nio.internal.SelectorImpl.wakeup(SelectorImpl.java:

I have done all the googling and looking around I can think of and
found nothing. The closest I have come seems to be an old JDK bug with
ipv6 support on XP and Vista machines (I'm running Vista).
Recommendations included disabling ipv6 (that did not work) and
disabling ipv4 and leaving ipv6 (will not work for me as my router and
ISP don't support it and so could not test anyway). I have also tried
commenting out the ipv6 line in my hosts file, and setting the
java.net.preferIPv4Stack=true (maybe did not do this one in the right
files?).

Any thoughts, suggestions, things I have not tried?

Also pasted same here with no response yet:

Thanks,
Josh
