Is there a video clip that actually plays on emulator

I have tried several video clips in different formats - 3gp, mp4, wmv
but could not get any of these to play on the emulator. I have written
programs from scratch for playing video, downloaded code from the web
(pretty much same as what I wrote), tried the web browser (with an SD
card image) and have tried the API demo code by changing the "path"
value in class com.example.android.apis.media.VideoViewDemo to point
to a URL on my local http server where I keep the video clips (I did
check the mime type on the http server) . I keep on getting error
"'Cannot play video' Sorry, this video cannot be played". Am using
version 1.0 release 1 on windows XP.

So heres the question - has any of you actually gotten a video to play
on the emulator and if yes, can you share the clip (and code) if
possible?

Thanks

1. Smack & xmpp / Handler question

Have anybody tried it?
I am doing some experiments, and I saw that:

- connect / login are executed in the same thread of the caller, then
are blocking
- The packetlistener callbacks are called from smack receiver thread
- The sendpacket enqueues the message to a queue

Now my question: when I receive a message, I need to propagate it. I
can use an handler, but it only gets the runnable object. How can I
pass the data to the runnable called by the handler?

I can't use a local variabile, because if I receive a lot of messages
it will be overridden and I will loose some of them. Is it ok to use a
queue to feed the runnable? Are there other techniques?

Thanks and regards,

2. Print documents from an Android device

I am developing an application for the Norwegian Food Control. They
want to register a control using an Android device, and when they are
done print out a certificate to give to the business directly.

Is there any way to do this from Android?
I have seen Bluetooth enabled printers, but is there a way for my
application to use these? The only thing I could find on the web was
an app called Print Share, but this only sent items to print to a
network-connected stationary printer. Printers with built in support
for Android also just prints photos. I want to print for instance a
PDF directly from my phone.
