 Hello,

I'm doing my companu dedicated to Android! French industries start to
be interesting by Android and there is a business to do.
I would like to know:
- does Google prepare an Android certification?
- how is it possible to be referenced at Google as Android company for
french market?

Regards

 >From what I can tell, there aren't any of the "usual" partner programs
a la MS or Oracle. So there are no training or certification programs,
marketing or anything that rides on the coattails of the technology.
And no leveraging of Google's brand for your own benefit. They buy
companies on occasion however or sponsor stuff. The ADC or the SoC
come to mind, so if you do well in any of these programs, you can
advertise that.

I don't believe any of the OHA members are in the training business.

1. How to create multi-language application?

I read http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/resources/resources-i18n.html.
But it shows how to localize your app for the currently selected
locale of the phone. However, I want to add a "language" option into
my own app, and allow the user to switch the UI language independent
of the phone's locale setting.

My currently solution is to manage a string table myself, and
dynamically edit the text string of every UI element. However, this is
rather tedious. Is there a better way?

Thanks

2. Need a way to simulate Button Click Event.

Hi,

I'm trying automate UI Functional testing of my application.

1) First phase: Record the user actions and playing back the same.
2) Second Phase: Adding Validation Capability to Recorded scripts.

In First Phase:
I'm able to automate the Text/Editbox control actions without any
issues, because we need to Set the Text of the control to the recorded
value, so, its simple.
While coming to Button Control actions, we need to simulate user
actons, like Clicking on button.

Can anyone suggest me, Do we have any mechanism, which can simulate
button click event in Android?

Thanks,
Rama Raju
