Poll activity state?

 Is there any way to poll the system for the "essentially four states"
of an Activity (ACTIVE/RUN, PAUSED, STOPPED, DEAD) ?

I have a situation where this would be convenient, and I don't want
to clutter my onXXXX() handlers with my own state tracking.

1. OutOfMemory

Hello All,
 I am facing an Out Of Memory Exception while playing with the
application for sometime.
I looked in to HeapDump using MAT, and also monitored the heap through
DDMS. But HeapDump looks good to me and DDMS heap size is well in
limit. Still I am getting this Exception.
This morning when it crashed the DDMS heap details are:
Heap size ->  5.945 MB
allocated  ->  4.463 MB
Free        ->  1.482 MB
%Used   ->   75.07%

Could anyone help me to resolve this? as my timeslines are very
closure and this is a show stopper for me.

Thanks in Advance.

2. OutOfMemory - while Change orientation

Hello Fadden,
        Thanks alot for the response. Now at last I know what is
causing the crash.
But I am not able to run the python script (qclog.py) in my dev
enviornement.
Could you please let me know how to use the same? so that I can drill
down more and know from which point problem is getting started.

Thanks once again.
