I am testing my application on a Nexus One and i have some problems.
My theme is Light and when an sub PreferenceScreen is displayed, the
window background becomes black instead of keeping the
PreferenceActivity's one.

<PreferenceScreen android:title="main preferences">
    <PreferenceScreen android:title="sub screen">

What is the problem?

1. Droid X problems with SEARCH_LONG_PRESS intent

I recently tested out my application that listens for a
SEARCH_LONG_PRESS intent. On my droid incredible the intent gets
registered and I can use a long press of the search button to bring up
my app, however, on the droid X it doesn't work.

Does anyone know why this doesn't work on the droid X, how I might go
about debugging it, or if there is a known work around?

2. Unit Testing Functional Testing

I have created an app that sends intents among multiple activities.
After doing some research i have found that the ActivityUnitTestCase
class is designed for unit testing while the
is designed for functional testing. I understand the use of methods
as setUp(), tearDown(), and testPreconditions(). However i am having
little difficulty in trying to figure out what user-defined-tests to
create in
the previously mentioned classes. I know that there are a few methods
that cannot be called in certain classes.

To be more specific, if i am in activity A and i click a button then
it calls startActivityForResult() which starts activity B. I then
an intent back to activity A which is handled in the
onActivityResult() method. How can i test that the actual result in
onActivityResult() is equal to the expected result?

I have been looking extensively for any kind of examples that would
help clear up this confusion. If anyone could provide any assistance
would greatly appreciate it.
