Is it possible to store my APK file on the phone / SD card and run it
from there? and how would I go about doing that?

I'm not using a standard Android handset - I'm using a HTC Vogue with
Android installed over the top (followed these instructions

The build I have doesn't have USB support and the only links I can
find to running an Android app is via this method.

Alternately is there a testing portion to the android market where
only I can have access?

I'm really lost on how to get my application onto my phone - it runs
fine in the emulators.

Cheers in advance,

I think there are some "explorer" type apps available that browse
through the SD card and will install APKs if you choose them.
Unfortunately, I don't know any by name. Assuming your device has WiFi,
you would need to be able to download the APK off of a Web site that is
properly configured vis a vis MIME type, in which case the APK will install.

1. Android 2.2 : Quick contact on home screen : missing anchor

on my own home screen (still in developement), I have a bug with the
new Froyo's quick contact feature.

When I click on a contact shortcut in 2.2 home I have this intent

05-31 11:36:10.160: INFO/ActivityManager(85): Starting activity:
Intent { dat=content://
bnds=[125,586][235,704] (has extras)

When I do the same on my home screen, I have the same Intent without
the last bnds params....(bounds ??)
And I throw an Exception like "missing anchor rectangle".

I see the bnds param on the Intent but I dont known when and how to ad
this param to my pick activity called with:

or directly to the Intent associated to my icon on the screen ?

This is recompiled to take advantage of ARM CPUs with VFP

non-native code significantly faster.

Apply the zips using an SDX recovery. The updates automatically clear

By request, here's one with JIT enabled. It's unstable on my phone, so
use at your own risk.
It's also very fast so don't try it if you have a low tolerance for
