As Google's current support for paid apps in the Android Market is
limited to the US market only (and even on the US market, would not
support ADP1 phone), I really think you guys should stop posting your
apps in there.

Please make yourself a favor being able to reach the whole world and
post your apps on androidgear or SlideMe or handango.

Yeah do that.. and then send email to the all actual users asking them
to go and find your app on androidgear or SlideMe or handango.
Brilliant strategy ..

1. OpenGL with native UI

Hello,

I am porting my BlackBerry game to Android 2.0 and I am not exactly
sure how I should implement a screen. I abstracted the process of
entering a name for your high score since I felt the user would prefer
to use whatever the platform uses for entering text. For BlackBerry I
push a screen over top of the game that has a label and edit text
field.

So for Android would I create a view and set it active for my Activity
or do I have to make an activity with a view and use an Intent trigger
it? I only really need a small popup.

Thanks.

2. Continue playing after leaving the media player

Have it run via a service, instead of via an activity, and keep the
service running when the activity is destroyed. Obviously, you will need
some way to arrange to shut down that activity when the user requests it.
