 Hello,

How can I get and connect to the internet Database of the device so that I
can:

- Obtain the phone number and other carrier information associated with the
device?
- Obtain email settings of the device?

Is it possible to change the email settings via an app on the device?

Thanks.

2. ext2/3/4 file system support in emulator

Hi All,
I am new to android. I am trying to mount a block device
file to another location with file system type ext2/3/4. But I am
getting message as block device file location doesn't exist (this
error not related to PATH_MAX or FILE_MAX). When I see the mount
information all mount points are with yaffs2. Could some body let me
know whether ext2/3/4 file systems are supported in emulator. In the
kernel config file flags related to ext2/3/4 file system modules are
enabled.
I tried compiling linux kernel for android emulator with
out yaffs2 file system support. But after launching emulator, if I see
all mount points, mount points are with yaffs2 again. After disabling
yaffs2 support in config file where did this yaffs2 comes from?

Could somebody help me out?

Thanks & Regards
