Hi guys, i'm getting these two errors when trying to open a new
project. I already configurated the proper Sun 1.6 java version and
now getting this. Clicking OK i manage to get to the new project main
dialog, but with no targets!

1. Desktop synchronization of Android just like WM-phones

1) who cares? Winducks is {*filter*}anyways. If you were asking about syncing on
any other OS, the answer would be most definitely YES. Just need to write a
simple script to pull your data from both phone and desktop, compare them,
and write changes to the appropriate databases.
2) yes. set your desktop up as a wireless access point and use iptables to
establish a network address translator between that and your. Whoops, can't
do that with winducks... might want to look into a better os...
3) only if your winducks can export its contacts into a format that can
actually be read, then its a simple matter of inserting them into the
sqlite2 database used for contacts. Doing so it helps to know how to use a
real OS. did I mention I don't like winducks?

2. Bitmap from Camera Preview using BitmapFactory.decodeByteArray

check out the Camera SDK docs. camera previews are in raw YUV/YCbCr
format. BitmapFactory won't decode that format.

in the days before 1.5 brought back video recording, various intrepid
'droiders including me were doing video capture by saving preview
frames, and the adventures did not always end well. some of us wrote
raw decoders for the camera format, but mostly concluded that it just
takes too long on the phone to be viable.

camera previews are really only usable as such IMHO. trying to save
or encode them seemingly was not anticipated by the SDK implementers.

IIRC, frames can be obtained from recordings made with MediaRecorder.
i've not used that feature yet, but it can't be more awkward and
problematic than dealing with the Camera preview format.
