Wifi SDK Available ?

 WiFi and Bluetooth emulation are not planned for the immediate future (i.e.
won't happen before 2009)
emulation at the low-level protocol level on three distinct platforms is
next to impossible.
we could implement some sort of bridging with special code path in the
system, but we're
not there yet, having other priorities (like shipping a real device :-))

in other words, chances are that you'll have a real device to test these
features on before
seeing the emulator try to (badly) support them...

 it depends exactly on what you need to do. if you perform operations that
require root permissions, this won't run on an unmodified Android phone, due
to our security model.

on the other hand, there will likely be some sort of "network service" that
should export an interface to client libraries and programs. however, I
don't know much how our wifi-related service is setup and what it provides.

 as far as I know, any chip supported by the Linux kernel and the bluez

Wifi SDK Available ?

 Hi Digit, i need to get power from different AP and to modify some
parameters regarding the rate that the sensor use to get the
measurment of the power. Obviously I'm searching also a wifi board
with a good support for linux ('m thinking on some Atheros chipset).
What I don't understand is if i can manage these param with Android.
I'm also searching if what i want to do is possible with Qtopia or
OpenMoke, my problem is that i'm totally new with these kind of
systems.
Thanks for all

1. Loading bitmap: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: bitmap size

Somebody tested my game (see http://spacewarsgame.wordpress.com) on a
real device,
however occasionaly this exception is thrown when running the main
game Activity.
This activity loads a lot of resources in GamePainter.<init>.

(I know it is better to load resources in a separate thread, i'm
woking on it,
however this exception is unrelated to that (i think))

I dont now what the cause of this exception is, some VM memmory
allocation problem.
Is there not enough memory? If so, why does it run sometimes and other
times not?

The exception stack trace is below:

2. finding dynamic classes:

Hi All,

I have a query..

I am writing a app, which has sort of plugin framework.

public abstract class AbstractService
{
   public abstract AbstractService getInstance(String name);
}

i write some classes A, B, C which are derived from AbstractService.

Now, How do i create the instances of A, B or C dynamically with the help of
the String that is passed as the input parameter to the function
getInstance..

Could you please let me how they can achieve??
