Have you seen a cancelled purchase in the same minute?

 Hi, I just got a purchase from an UK customer, and it looks like this:

Mar 13 10:59 AM Order cancelled You cancelled this order.
Reason: Other (describe below)
Message sent to customer: Refund requested from phone.
Mar 13 10:59 AM Authorization failed The authorization of the
customer's credit card failed. Google has sent an email instructing
the customer to update their card. If they fail to provide a valid
card within seven days, this order will be automatically cancelled by
Google.
Mar 13 10:59 AM Order received You received a new order. Google
has sent the customer an order confirmation email.

Is it possible that the guy made a mistake (the payment has not been
declined) or something weirder is going on?

Cheers

 Post if you see volumes start to go up. I've had exactly one UK
purchase, yesterday.

 volumes are going up slightly... nothing too exciting though

17 UK sales since 6am yesterday morning, 4 of those were canceled (2
refunds, 2 payment declined)... of course collecting this data was a
little bit of a pain, it would have been so much easier if the GC csv
export included customer country or state... oh well

 toyan, thanks for the suggestions I will try and take a look into
Watir and WatiN this weekend... I am a C++ for the most part by day
but generally get tasked with quite a few smaller tasks so I have had
the opportunity to do a little bit of playing with ruby for simple
scripting purposes and .NET for samples for an SDK, I can generally
figure out what I need to do... but we will see if I get around to
scripting this stuff, my next game is in development and I am hoping
to get the rough mechanics finished this weekend

1. OpenGL Ambient Lighting

I'm getting some strange results when enabling ambient lights in
openGL. After some experiments, I determined that for some reason, the
ambient light color is multiplied by 0.2f. That is, setting an ambient
light of color ( 5.0f, 0.0f, 0.0f, 1.0f ) is needed to get a pure red
ambient, not the expected ( 1.0f, 0.0f, 0.0f, 1.0f ), which yields a
dark red ambient.

I even tried setting the ambient light model :

        float full[] = { 1.0f, 1.0f, 1.0f, 1.0f };
        gl.glLightModelfv(GL10.GL_LIGHT_MODEL_AMBIENT, full, 0);

But that makes no difference.

Note that the diffuse component does not suffer from this 0.2f factor,
only the ambient.

Notice that all the default values in openGL for ambient-related stuff
is 0.2f, so I don't think this is a coincidence. Is there another
openGL function I should be calling to set a global factor ?

Thanks,

Patrick.

2. custom EditText that executes callback function

I have a user input box that I want to execute a function every time I
press enter. I can't call super.onKey(...) to do the standard text
input.

I have two ways to solve this problems, but I'm having trouble looking
for places to find out how to do this.
1. Convert the keycode to a character that I can append to (theText)
2. Find a standard onKeyListener that I can call

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
final EditText userInputBox = (EditText) findViewById
(R.id.editTextItems);
        userInputBox.setOnKeyListener(new OnKeyListener()
        {
                public boolean onKey(View v, int keyCode, KeyEvent event)
                {
                    // code
                        Editable theText = userInputBox.getText();
                        int pressedKey = event.getUnicodeChar();
                        if (pressedKey == '\n')
                        {
                                addUserInput();
                        }

                        return true;
                }
        });
