Have you seen a cancelled purchase in the same minute?

Hi, I just got a purchase from an UK customer, and it looks like this:

Mar 13 10:59 AM Order cancelled You cancelled this order.
Reason: Other (describe below)
Message sent to customer: Refund requested from phone.
Mar 13 10:59 AM Authorization failed The authorization of the
customer's credit card failed. Google has sent an email instructing
the customer to update their card. If they fail to provide a valid
card within seven days, this order will be automatically cancelled by
Google.
Mar 13 10:59 AM Order received You received a new order. Google
has sent the customer an order confirmation email.

Is it possible that the guy made a mistake (the payment has not been
declined) or something weirder is going on?

Cheers

volumes are going up slightly... nothing too exciting though

17 UK sales since 6am yesterday morning, 4 of those were canceled (2
refunds, 2 payment declined)... of course collecting this data was a
little bit of a pain, it would have been so much easier if the GC csv
export included customer country or state... oh well

toyan, thanks for the suggestions I will try and take a look into
Watir and WatiN this weekend... I am a C++ for the most part by day
but generally get tasked with quite a few smaller tasks so I have had
the opportunity to do a little bit of playing with ruby for simple
scripting purposes and .NET for samples for an SDK, I can generally
figure out what I need to do... but we will see if I get around to
scripting this stuff, my next game is in development and I am hoping
to get the rough mechanics finished this weekend

1. application installer

My company is developing a new device that will run on Android. I'm
tasked to develop the software installation process, including
application installations and updates as well as system software
updates. I want to leverage as much as possible from the Android
SDK. I'm looking for any advice or references to help me get
started. I've downloaded the source code for Android 2.1 and have
been tracing the source code path for software installations via adb.
The path has taken me through adb client -> adb server -> adb deamon -

I'm thinking my software update process will begin with downloading an
update package to our device's SD card. Then, if the update package
contains apk files to install, I guess I'll have to develop a package
installer app that get the apk files individually and command
PackageManagerService to install them similar to how adb does?

If my update package has system software to update, such as a new
version of Android, I'll have to reboot the system in recovery mode
and somehow make it install the system software components?

Am I on the right track or totally off? I'd appreciate any advice or
pointers to related reference docs or examples.
