1. Great Idea in need of better JAVA pro

Hi,
I am a practicing Emergency Medicine Physician and specialized in
Ambulatory Care Medical Centers.
Also, I have been involved with computers programming since Fortran,
Apple 2C, 8086 and on.
Android peaked my interest, as I have, what I consider to be, a great
app for use when visiting a doctor
office for a sick call. It is well thought out medically and medico-
legally, accurate, interactive and very user friendly.

Due to my time limitation, and the fact that Ie never written in
JAVA, I believe that with one or several enthusiastic
Android developers (tech-wise), a working prototype App could be
running in a short time.

I would like to find Android developers to assist me.

Also, I think that this program has a great chance of vertical
leverage.
Please drop me a note as soon as you think if you would be talk this
over with me.
Thank You,
Sal Perconte, MD

2. Motorola Android Improvements

So I've owned my Droid phone for a little over a week now and I have
pretty much gone over the entired phone OS. I really like the layout
and style of it. It's alot of phone with very little issues. I have
some complaints about the buttons and a few issues with some of the
software. As far as the Motorola version of the Droid I see the volume
bottoms totally being in the wrong spot. Not to mention the power port
is a huge pain when using it while plugged in. The whole cord is right
in your face. A wireless headset would take care of that but it is
still a pain. The touch buttons on the bottom are way to easy to push
since they won't require alot of pressure. I think they should all
require a double tap to work.. and the fact that if you hold them down
they do stuff also. I think for that it should be a tap and then
hold.

OK.. Software issues.. Where do I begin.

1. Make it so you can have seperate ring tones for each contact. It
can't be that hard. Plus make it so you can set a different tone for
messages per contact.
2. The Exchange E-mail app sucks. Needs to be redone conpletely. If I
have folders inside of the inbox folder it can't see them or see the
new E-mails that come in..
3. FB app sucks. Can't Message people in the app.
4. Make an option to turn the camera sound on or off. No one wants to
hear that sound anyways.
5. When deleteing or archiving G-mail make it ask you again to make
sure.. PITA!

So those are a few things I found that I think that could be improved.
I used to have a LG voyager and those options were on that phone so I
miss those. Other then that I think the phone is killer compared to
what I've had before.
