 This is why Tethering requires rooted phones; you cannot have both radio's
active at once.

The only solution I can think of is to request sufficient permissions for
your app that you can turn WIFI off temporarily, let the 3G boot and use it.

Of course people would lose their WIFI if it's being used.

Is there a way in which we can allow filtering in a spinner widget?Just like
we can enable setTextfilter as in the ListView.

2. M5's api equivalent of Activities showAlert() method in 1.0 r2

In M5 show alert used like this use to show model an allert with
message and ok button.

    aActivity.showAlert(null,0,aMessage, "OK",true);

This use to go away on pressing the fire button.

However on 1.0, this method is removed..and hence using

 new AlertDialog.Builder(aActivity) .setMessage(aMessage).show();

But this one is not showing ok and also not getting dismised on fire
button. One needs to use redbutton to exit from this.

Could you pl. let me know how to get some thing similar to m5 one in
1.0

Nagendra
