Is anyone else experiencing poor playback quality on files recorded
with MediaRecorder? Is there a way to improve this?

The codec is AMR-NB with an 8KHz sample frequency. In the Cupcake
release we will provide access to the raw 16-bit PCM stream so you can
do your own encoding or signal processing.

I have been experimenting with an HTC Dream running the 1.1 firmware.
The only form of AMR that I can get from it is AMR NB at 5.6kbps.

You want "init=/init" in your bootargs..and you can use "rootwait"

2. Why are column names re-maped in database queries and not in update and delete

When building a database query in the content provider
SQLiteQueryBuilder.setProjectionMap(...) can be used to map the
clients view of the content onto the actual database column names.
This is nice as it lets the content provider expose its functionality
without exposing the inner workings.

However in looking at the Notepad sample and online docs I see no
mention of using the same technique when implementing update and
delete. If the public view of the content provder needs to be
remapped for queries then I feel that the same re-mapping should be
done in update and delete.

Am I missing something here? Do I have to parse the selection and
selectionArgs parameters (of update and delete) and replace the
logical names with the internal physical names?
