Romain but doesn't the webkit Nov 2008 nighties have the w3c web
widget plugin in there?

And is not sdk 1.0.3 including that webkit version?

1. 3G & Wi-Fi at same time

Hello,

here is a solution (only for testing and research, not for product) to
have the cellular data and wifi at the same time.

Warning: need root

1. pull build.prop from system

adb pull /system/build.prop .

2. Change ro.built.type property:

from: ro.built.type=userdebug (on ADP1)

to: ro.built.type=eng

3. Add property:

cm.test.mode=true

4. Remount system:

adb root
adb shell
mount -o rw,remount -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system
exit

5. Push build.prop:

adb push build.prop /system

6. reboot :)

Some one knows if is possible to change the source code of the
ConnecitivityService.java and push to Android system (without install
a new image)? I think that is possible compiling a new core.jar and/or
ext.jar, correct?

2. How to add new field(s) to the contacts and call log database?

I want to add a Custom field to the ContactsContract content provider.
I'm trying to build a Voip application and would like to add a SIP
address(n...@domain) field to it. Which MIME type will I need to
associate with it? Also I want to add a group address field which will
have a list of group addresses in it (n...@domain, n...@domain,...).
Again, which MIME type will I have to associate with this type of
field?

I also want to add custom fields to the Call History like a session ID
and SIP address(n...@domain) field. How can I customize the call
history?

It'll be great if someone can give me an example.
