 Hi All,
  Please tell me how to declare equivalent of #define in java ? whats the
best way and best place in android to define equivalent of it.
my requirement is some thing like this ...
if the flag is enabled that part of the code should get complile else it
should not compile.

something like

#ifdef FLAG_DEFINED

#else

#endif

can some one please explain me how to this in java.

1. Ad-Hoc Networking

With Android 2.2 they allowed for the user feature of making your
phone a wireless hotspot.
Looking through the API I was not able to find a way to configure the
hotspot or even turn it on.
There also wasn't a way to start an activity to let the user turn it
on from settings, like there is for Wireless.

Has anyone else had any luck with this issue? or know if it is even
possible as of yet?

Thanks,
