 Hello,

I'm new to android dev. I would like to make a game.

I'm looking for a 2D game framework that handles all the opengl stuff,
is such a thing existing ?

I heard that submitting a game to the android market is not open to
all countries, is that true ? I'm living in France is there a turn
around to submit an appl to the market ?

Thanks

2D and OpenGL? You know that OpenGL is mainly for 3D?!

Thats right. I don't know which countries have the permissions, but I
guess France is one of them.

Your welcome!

I don't know of any frameworks as of yet -- you might try pinging
Chris Pruett to see if he's releasing his side-scrolling opengl game
any time soon (check out his Google IO talk on real time game
development for Android). Also look at his sprite method test, which
covers the typical methods of drawing 2D sprites on the screen.

2. Distributing free licenses to paid apps

I have an app that contains the License Verification Library (LVL).
My Market developer account is my Google Account, but my phone is
logged in to my Google Apps account. LVL is issuing a responseCode of
1 and calling callback.disallow() if I try to run my app on my Google
Apps phone. I've entered my Google Apps email as a "Test account" in
my Market Developer Profile.

I'd like to authorize certain people to use my app without buying it.
Is there a way to do this? Am I running into issues with my own phone
because my Google Apps account is not considered a Gmail address?

If I tell them to buy the app, then I immediately issue a refund in
Google Checkout, will this somehow affect my standing as a developer
or merchant? Does it cost me anything to issue a refund?

Thanks!
