 Hello everyone,

I would like to create a website that has a button, and whenever the
button is pushed, an application or service on my phone will begin.

Could someone please push me in the right direction for where I should
look to accomplish this?

 You can use hooked javascript to call Activity for your website.

 You can also build an intent: URI. Note that the browser automatically
tacks the BROWSABLE category on to any such intents, so you can only reach
activities that have explicitly said that support that category. See the
Intent documentation for the API to convert an Intent object in to its
String URI representation.

1. Adding an Intent to a Sync'd account option in a contact

I am playing about with the sample code in android dev resources, the

I have it inserting a sampleSyncAdapter entry into my contact.
however, when I click on this I would like to define an activity for
it to open...

in the adb log it currently states (because have not defined the
ViewContact(11201): No activity found for intent: Intent
{ act=android.intent.action.VIEW dat=content://
data/5045 }

Looking at the face book entry in the same contact, when I click on
that, this is the intent that is fired:
Starting activity: Intent { act=android.intent.action.VIEW
cmp=com.facebook.katana/.ProfileTabHostActivity }

I was wondering if anyone had any idea how/where to define an activity
to handle the click on the custom contact option, like face book
define the .ProfileTabHostActivity?

Any help appreciated,
