I am trying to find solution where I can apply round corners to an image.

I have tried to set android:background
and in drawable

<layer-list xmlns:android="" ;>
    <item  >
        <solid android:color="#50FFFFFF"/>
            <corners android:radius="11dp" />

but it applies to background of imageview but not to the image

2) are there any bitmap or drawables methods that will help me in creating a
bitmap from a given bitmap with rounded corners.

I did some google search on google as well as the developers group, nothing
came up regarding this.

Thanks in advance for your help

1. dynamic lib link problem

Hi all,
I may have a stupid question here about how to link a prebuilt *.so into
another local building *.so inside android.

I use "call add-prebuilt-files, SHARED_LIBRARIES," to push my prebuilt
dynamic lib and link it with "LOCAL_SHARED_LIBRARIES += xx". The problem is
that it eventually searches inside $(out)/obj/lib instead of
$(out)/obj/SHARED_LIBRARIES and simply can not find the pushed file. How can
I solve this problem? Thank you so much!

2. Foreign Keyboards on G1 Dev

I was actually wondering if the Dev version of the G1 would ever be
available with different keyboard layouts...

I'm getting old and my brain isn't flexible enough to switch between
keyboard layouts anymore... errr... ok, let's say that the low-to-zero
availability of the G1 elsewhere on the planet would make a localized
version more than appealing... not only for AZERTY-{*filter*}ed people
like me, but more for the day to day usage beyond the dev tool it is.

I know the G1 is coming out in a few days here (at a big price tag),
meaning the keypads and hardware exist, but hyper locked, (sim and
bootloader), as a futur dev, and continuous geek, I'd love getting an
officially "FRogalized" Dev G1 :-)

Would choosing the kb layout ever be possible in the Android Market
checkout? :-)

(or a Dev G2 at worst?)
