It depends on the hardware. On the G1, this is all done by the baseband
processor.

Is there any hardware available where I could flash my custom os image
and where the android kernel delivers the audio to the gsm module?

Do you know if the HTC RIL implementation touches the voicestream by
sending/receiving a phone call?

ell wait, the RIL runs in the apps processor, so since the basebound
processor is the only one that accessing the audio stream, then I would
kind-of doubt it.

1. AdapterView and adding views to the hierarchy

I'm implementing my own AdapterView but I have a problem caused by the
fact that I don't seem able to set this AdapterView as parent to views
it gets from an Adapter.

This gives me problems such as not being able to invalidate views in
the AdapterView, nothing will happen if the view doesn't have a
parent.

I don't seem to have access to any of the functions other AdapterViews
have access to in the platform, such as assignParent and the mParent
field in View.

The only solution I have so far is to not extend AdapterView, and
instead extend ViewGroup, and use addView(...) to make my ViewGroup
the parent of added views.

Is there a solution allowing you to create your own AdapterViews and
adding views to the hierarchy, thus enabling invalidate(), etc. on the
added views?

2. How to start video and audio simultaneously?

hi,

We're writing a video output mio which can decode and render AVC bitstream.
This is an "active mio" according to the doc, "Media I/O Developer's Guide".

The problem is, it seems that we cannot make video start simultaneously with
audio.
compressed data,
the node will notify the player engine. When the engine is notified by both
video and audio,
it will start the playback clock. At this time, the video is not ready yet,
in this case.
Similar problem happens with the last frame data.

So it seems that the OpenCore framework assumes that a media output mio does
not buffer data. Isn't it?
Any idea?

Thanks.
Oliver
