The below is my trace log:

--------------------------------
(start activity)
onCreate
OnStart
OnResume
(running something)
...
...(other events)
...
onStop (screen is off)
--------------------------------

when my phone screen goes off, my App. gotta onStop, and there is no
longer event occurred.

When my screen turn back on, and I can see my App again (Of
Course !!!)
But, there is no event (ex>onResume, onStart...) I can get from the
App.
I expected to get some event such as onResume or onStart or any event

Is anybody know why I didn't get such events?

  http://developer.android.com/reference/android/app/Activity.html #ActivityLifecycle

After onStop, onRestart should be called. Check if your onRestart is getting
called or not.

The only changes from the screen turning off and on and onPause() when it is
turning off and onResume() when it is turning on.

1. How can I output XML Document as text?

Hi,

I have org.w3c.dom.Document that I want to save to file. I need to get
the XML data out of it as string.

How can be this done? I found the way to do it in Java, but Android
doesn't seem to have the transformer.

Thank you!

2. Real time recording

Hi all,

I was trying to understand how to use the camera in Android to develop
my app. I just had a looking at the MediaRecorder class and it seemed
to me the perfect and easy solution. But here's the problem... I do
not want to save the recording on the mobile, storing it in a file,
but I would like to send it directly and real-time to Internet as a
byte stream (or as a compressed stream). How can I realized this real
time streaming??? Is it possible to use the MediaRecorder class or do
I create my own solution? And If so how??

Any suggestion would be very welcome.

Have a nice day
Maurizio
