 Hi,

Could anyone direct me to the APIs which allow to figure out through
roaming which service providers available and what are they're
capabilities?

Also, is it possible upon a call action to launch a custom intent,
let's say a voip app such as sipdroid?

I'm quite new at this and just trying to figure out possible
capabilities of android, I'm using android 2.1 btw.

Thanks beforehand, Goat.

1. File operations extremely slow on emulator - totally stuck.

Hi,

I am finding that file operations are extremely slow on emulator. The
same operation which takes less than a few seconds in a real device,
takes minutes on an emulator.

I am using a ubuntu linux machine with 2.4Ghz CPU, 2 GB Ram.

I would really appreciate any help in resolving this. I am totally
stuck due to this.

Thanks,
