It's my first time using Android. I've make an EditText in which the
user can enter the URL of an image, then it downloads then image, and
then it make a drawable out of the image. Now all I want to do is
display the image in full screen without anything fancy. I'm looking
through the framework and not finding anything. Is there a simple
feature that makes a drawable go full screen until the user hits the
home or back button?

The section "Recording Media Resources" of
http://code.google.com/android/toolbox/apis/media.html seems to be out of

which
is quite different.
It would be a good idea to correct at least remove the misleading online
