 Hi,

I am porting android to OMAP 3430 based custom board which is running
linux-2.6.28-omap-rc9 kernel.
I am using embinux android file system.

When i boot android, the logo screen comes and then desktop appears.

In the desktop screen, it is showing, "Screen locked, press MENU to unlock"

When i press "Windows Right Meta key" for unlocking, it throws this message
on logcat, how to unlock and go to main window containing apps.

logcat messages,

D/KeyguardViewMediator( 850): wakeWhenReadyLocked(82)
D/KeyguardViewMediator( 850): handleWakeWhenReady(82)
D/KeyguardViewMediator( 850): pokeWakelock(5000)
D/KeyguardViewMediator( 850): wakeWhenReadyLocked(84)
D/KeyguardViewMediator( 850): handleWakeWhenReady(84)
D/KeyguardViewMediator( 850): pokeWakelock(5000)
D/KeyguardViewMediator( 850): wakeWhenReadyLocked(82)
D/KeyguardViewMediator( 850): handleWakeWhenReady(82)
D/KeyguardViewMediator( 850): pokeWakelock(5000)

any pointers to fix this would be helpful.

Thanks and Regards,

1. draw bitmap fastest mode

What 's the fastest way to display a bitmap?
Now I am using Bitmap.setPixels and ImageView.setImageBitmap all time
that this change. It has a refresh of 15 fps. It work good, but I am
not sure that is the best method to get best performance.
Is better use Canvas.drawBitmap with a SurfaceView ? or opengl ?

thanks

2. Accelerated 3D effects on Adroid are coming

Hello list,

Our developer, olv (Chia-I Wu), is working on MESA's OpenGL|ES and
Android integrations for a long time. It is time to show the progress recently.
The following two videos demonstrated fully accelerated 3D on Intel-based
hardware graphics using theexisting Linux Kernel GEM + MESA + Eagle
loader, and the highly integrated these technologies into Android software
stack:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIBHQiqcdTM
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ricl2Kg3pMI

You can watch the visual effects about Cube and Fire, which were only
shown in Compiz, but it is possible to extend Android to do anything exciting
with olv's changes. WindowManagerService in Android is now tweaked to
allow the effects in most operations. It is in fact a framework for Android
animations.

Of course, it is open source'd. Please check out on gitorious:
