Is there a spec for how this should be done inside HTML? Is there any
security/permission mechanism?

Thanks

when the browser sees something that looks like a telefone number you can
click it, if it doesn't detect you can select it

please note that I didn't explore the browser yet, all I now is from
presentetion videos from the android channel from youtube and the like,
anyway try out, doesn't this work in the simulator?

1. About the android-goldfish-2.6.27

Hi

I got the android source tree by command:
repo init -u git://android.git.kernel.org/platform/manifest.git -b
cupcake
then in the kernel directory, I typed the command:
git fetch origin android-goldfish-2.6.27:goldfish
to switch to the goldfish branch

Then I commented out the LDFLAGS line in the main Makefile, typed
make goldfish_defconfig
make
When it succeeded, I tried to launch the emulator with the command:
emulator -system <system_dir> -kernel <kernel_dir>

But when the emulator started, it suspended at the android image(the
small robot), and if I open the kernel message, it kept printing
request_suspend_state: wakeup (0->0) at 842945074484 (2009-02-11
07:27:11.389466714 UTC)

I have no idea why this happened, is it with that I got the 'cupcake'
branch rather than the master, or I didn't get the correct goldfish
branch? Has anyone encountered the same problem?

I am waiting for help, thanks.

2. In Gmail App, Group Contacts not showing up when typed

Hello,

When composing a email in the Gmail Appliation on the G1 phone, I go
to type a Group Name that exists in my Gmail Contacts, but it doesn't
show up in the auto complete. Only individual contacts appear in auto
complete. This has a {*filter*} effect of not being able to compose an
email on the G1 to a Contact Group.

1- Is there a way to do this that I obviously don't know/haven't
figured out?
2- If no, then can it be? How does one go about offering suggestions
for upgrades/enhancements?

Thanks!
