 Hye All,

I am Computer Science Grad student at Clemson University. My research
is going to be based on Android for the next 2 semesters to come.

I need some tips and ideas as to what I can start working on which
could be achieved in 1 year.

I have a lot of random ideas in my mind. I thought I could seek some
pro-help.

Thanks.

Regards,
Sid

1. Can't see quickly incrementing integer until incrementing stops.

I filled a LinearLayout with a bunch of TextView's filled with
numbers. Then I used a for loop to run over every TextView, get
the content with TextView.getText(), increment the value (after casting)
and put it back with TextView.setText(). I do this 500000 times. This all
works, but I can't
see anything but a black screen while the program is running. At the
end of the loop I see that all of the TextView's have increased in
value by 500000, but I can't see anything until the loop is done.

Is there a way to make the display refresh between each iteration
of the loop?

Thanks,

Tobiah
