I want to know how can we make use of native dialer to make
our own calls. What i want to know here is i want to get events
generated when native buttons pressed but those should be handled as
per my program.

We have TelephonyManager to get events generated when call state is
changed. Here we can get events when call state is changed.

Any help would be appreciated highly.

1. GPX files in Emulator/Eclipse

Some of you know that I am developing a Loopt clone that uses PhoneGap
and GPS.

I got PhoneGap GPS feature fully working with my modifications but I
would like to switch from manually inputting GPAS coords..

For soem reason when I attempt to load the GPX fiel in Eclipse it doe
snto take:

Eclipse ADt plugin 0.9
Android Sdk 1.0.2
Eclipse 3.4.1
Ubuntu 8.10

Not a major problem now as I can still input manually but does come
have a clue of why I cannot load the GPX file?

2. Jython works on Dev Phone! (jythonroid)

Here are some screenshots and instructions shows how to run jythonroid
(Jython) on Dev Phone, without modify the kernel.

We showed it's an possible task to make jython runs in real android
phone, but the sad thing is ClassFoo (the original creator) did not
continue the jythonroid development. I post this article and wish I
could encourage more python/jython people jumped in and make a more
mature python/jython implement on Android :)
