Hey guys, I'm trying to create an application where I need to check if
an application has been started. So for example, if the calendar was
clicked, before the calendar came up, my application would start up.
Is there any way to do this?

Cheers

Hi,

2. hide top alternative keys on soft keyboard

Hi all,

I was wondering if it is possible to hide the top 'alternative' keys (!, ?,
", ', :, all in yellow) on the soft keyboard before showing it. I would
like to conserve as much space as possible and as these keys would never be
used in this specific case, it would be great if I could tell android to
hide them.

This layout is from my Nexus S phone.

Thanks,
Rich
