Is ADP1 still available for purchase by developers ?

I have noticed in the site that the
ADP1 has not been available to be purchased by developers for the last
few weeks -

'Thank you for your interest in the Android Dev Phone 1.
Unfortunately, we are temporarily out of stock but we estimate
availability to resume on March 4. We apologize for any inconvenience
but please check back then to make your purchase '

Would Google please comment on -

* the future availability of the ADP1

* will future ADP1 phones come with the firmware 1.1 release already
installed ?

* will future ( and current - once firmware upgraded ) ADP1 phones
have access to paid applications in the Android Market ?

 Looks like their estimate was accurate enough, they seem to be in
stock now:

The out of stock message was removed about 20 minutes ago and at least
one happy order went through. I wish you the same luck.

 Their customer service is pretty bad, though. I ordered my phone
early last week. They charged my credit card, and I have the
confirmation page with the order number. Other than that, nothing.
No shipping notification, no back-order notice, nada. I've e-mailed inquiring about my order status - stony
silence. So I have no idea if I've got an ADP1 on the way or not.

It's a good thing they're not selling to the general public this

 I second that -- I'm pretty much stuck on an ongoing project without a
dev phone, which I expected to be available.
Google, please speak up

closed each time I looked, promise ;-)

1. Calling setContentView() more than once in method onCreate() ?

I was wondering whether anybody has tried calling setContentView() more than
once in method onCreate() when creating an Activity. It seems only the last
view is displayed. Or am I missing something here ?

Say we have an Activity:

public class SampleActivyt extends Activity {

     public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {

         // DO SOMETHING HERE .... and when it is done change the view

You can think of it as you have a "loading" screen while a computation is being
done and once it's finished the view needs to be changed.

PS. I tried moving "setContentView(R.layout.layout2)" inside the onStart()
method, only to find that this time the second view never gets displayed so I
am stuck with the first one.

2. Incredible bug reading a network stream

Hello !

First, sorry but my english is bad ^^ !

I'm develloping an app for android.
I use a function (see below) for transfert a file on the network.
private void fromTo(InputStream in, OutputStream out, int offset, long
                        byte[] buffer = new byte[buffer_size];
                        long total = 0;
                        while(total <= length+offset-buffer_size){
                        int end = ((int)(length-total))+offset;
              , 0, end);
                        out.write(buffer, 0, end);
                catch(Exception e){}
NB:i've removed some code...

Two situation:
-S1: in is get from a socket and out is a locale file
-S2: in is the local file and out is get from a socket

Well !
S1 and S2 work on the emulator.
But, on a real device, S1 make some problem.
The file is mixed :/ !
For exemple i would to tranfert this text:
But i receive this:
(not realy a real exemple)
The content received have same size as the source.
Look at this:
"123456789ABCDEF" is send and "12345678ABCDEF" is received :/ !

How does it is possible ?

Someone can help me ?

Thank in advance.
