 Hello. I'm from Belgium, so, sorry for my english ;-)

I'm developing an application with gdata API.

I tried :
PicasawebService myService = new PicasawebService("exampleCo-
exampleApp-1");                 myService.setUserCredentials("[EMAIL
PROTECTED]",
"password");

it works fine on an J2SE application but there is an error with
Android :

com.google.gdata.util.AuthenticationException: Error connecting with
login URI

I put the INTERNET permission in manifest file but it doesn't works

Can anybody help me ?

thanks

Julien

1. Droid slide event callback method

Hi there,

I'm having crash reports on Motorola Droid phone which force closes my
app when the slide is open or closed. I don't have the phone and can't
test it. I was wondering if anyone know what kind of event occurs and
if any activity callback method is called for those events. Btw, my
app is fixed to portrait mode, and the crash probably happens when the
background operation is going on while the progress dialog is in the
foreground.

Thanks

2. ListView.invalidateViews() not working

I have an ListActivity with a BaseAdapter where the contents have
changed (example - the rows are reordered). I have tried
invalidate(),  invalidateViews(), and notifyDataSetInvalidated(). So
far no luck...

The ListView does not repaint. getView() in the Adapter is not
called.

There are some similar posts but I did not see an answer. Have tried
with and without the runOnUiLoop() call.

Does anyone see what I should do differently?

public class MyListActivity extends ListActivity
{
    public void onCreate(Bundle icicle)
    {
        setListAdapter(new MyAdapter());
    }

    MyListener registryListener = new MyListener registryListener ()
    {
        @Override
        public void onChange(String eventName)
        {
           . . . . do some work . . .
           runOnUiThread(new Runnable () {
                public void run ()
{ getListView().invalidateViews(); }
            });
        }
    };

    class MyAdapter extends BaseAdapter
    {
        public View getView(. . .)
        {
        }
    }
}
