 In my Activity onPause method, how can i find out if this activity is
launched by another activity? (e.g. when user clicks menu of another
activity to launch this activity?)

Should i use the
isTaskRoot()
Return whether this activity is the root of a task.

or
isChild()
Is this activity embedded inside of another activity?

Thank you.

Wrap the LinearLayout in a ScrollView and take the following line out of
LinearLayout:
android:scrollbars="vertical"

Not sure if that is the best or recommended way but that is how I did it in
my app...

Ah. Well, you could step through the de{*filter*} and navigate the view of the
dialog to see if you can find the button ids that way. If that doesn't work,
you can always create your own view with your own ID'ed buttons that you can
control as you wish.
