 Android CustomSpinner Component
I've created a custom component which works like a lock of a safe.

Component is an extention of ScrollView. It have ability to scroll
inner views, but one an inner view always will be centered. After
scrolling, the component will do own smooth scrolling to set spinner
in a correct position.
So if you use it, you can set some own views, set different
backgrounds for any view, and for header and footer of CustomSpinner.

Source you can find here:
 http://code.google.com/p/customspinner/

If someone have question how to create own components or how works
mine component please answer,
but be sure that you have read this:

1. Porting from PalmOS to Android

I'm not too familiar with how smartphones work in general, but I am
considering porting an application that I sold & supported on PalmOS
PDAs for many years. My main question is how it might work on an
Android phone or other device as far as getting data onto it is
concerned.

My PalmOS application has both a PC (Windows) application as well as
the app on the PDA. The Windows application creates a data file from
data stored on the user's PC. This file is then transferred to the
Palm PDA during the next "Hotsync" operation and the data is available
to the user. It's a one-way transfer only; the user doesn't do any
entry or modification of the data on the PDA.

Smartphones, from what I know, are not as tied to a user's PC as the
old PDAs were; they're more network-based for accessing data. So how
would I create an Android app where the user can transfer data
directly (or some other way?) from their PC to the smartphone?

Just a basic concept is what I'm looking for as I decide if this
porting effort is really feasible.
