             setContentView(R.layout.main);

            okButton = (Button) findViewById(R.id.but);
             okButton.setOnClickListener(new View.OnClickListener() {

                 public void onClick(View view) {
                  //   setResult(RESULT_OK);

                     a= mymethod();

                 }
             });
             TextView tv=new TextView(this);
             tv.setText(a);
             setContentView(tv);

         }
         public static int  mymethod() {
           SoapObject request = new SoapObject(NAMESPACE,
METHOD_NAME);

           SoapSerializationEnvelope envelope = new
SoapSerializationEnvelope(SoapEnvelope.VER11);
           envelope.dotNet = true;
           envelope.setOutputSoapObject(request);
           HttpTransportSE androidHttpTransport = new HttpTransportSE
(URL);
           int a=0;

           try {
                androidHttpTransport.call(SOAP_ACTION, envelope);
                  a=(Integer)envelope.getResponse();
           } catch (Exception e) {
                e.printStackTrace();
           }

Other Threads

1. Intent XML

I came across the method parseIntent:

http://code.google.com/android/reference/android/content/Intent.html#parseIntent(android.content.res.Resources,%20org.xmlpull.v1.XmlPullParser,%20android.util.AttributeSet)

I would really like to use this method rather than baking my own. It
looks like I can pass XML from anywhere into this to create an intent.
However, I can't find any schema for this XML.

Does anyone know what the XML should look like? The documentation is
as vague as you can get.

Thanks,

Richard

2. Getting long/lat from locale

Hi,

is it possible to get the longitude and latitude coordinates only if you
know the country? Is there any function which gives me the values if I pass
the current locale?

Thanks,
