 Is there any way to use 3D positioned sound in Android apps?
Ive found Java3D (https://java3d.dev.java.net/) but it has native
libraries in addition to jars.
Thx in advance

1. Issue with ListView

Hi,

I'd like to display a list in a layout. As shown below in my code, I
create a class that extends ListActivity and set the content view to
my main layout, but I can't find out how to display the string array.
Anybody can help?

Thanks
Jul

package org.digitalfarm.atable;

import android.app.ListActivity;
import android.os.Bundle;

public class Atable extends ListActivity {

        public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
            super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
            setContentView(R.layout.main);
            String[] COUNTRIES = new String[] { "Afghanistan",
"Albania", "Algeria", "American Samoa", "Andorra"};

            //How do I display the string array in the ListView in my
main.xml?
    }
}

2. Need info on fetching icons' bitmaps

Hi
I am looking for some API which can fetch the default file icon(s) of
any file. I know this can be done for the installed apps by
PackageManager, but I was wondering, since android is linux based, it
should have a default icon theme (probably hicolor) -
http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Specifications/icon-theme-spec.

Is there any API which take an fd/file path and return the
corresponding file icon in bitmap format for any file type (or MIME
type).
